Waxing of the Moon « Result #3 on Jan 27, 2009, 10:35pm »
In the year 1007 AD, the Immortal Arthur Caldwell was traveling through Romania, hiking and climbing through the Carpathian mountains. He'd killed several Immortals already and had grown in power.
On his third day into his journey across the mountains he spent the night in a cave to protect him from the cold weather. Unfortunately he didn't take into account the bats.
The Demon Lord Moloch and his Cousin Pazuzu had their spirits imprisoned in the Carpathian mountains many hundreds of years earlier by a middle eastern mystic. Seeing Arthur as their bid for freedom the two demons used the little power they had in their weakened state to inhabit the body of a bat.
This bat bit Aurthur. Normally free tailed bats don't drink blood but this one did, absorbing the immortals blood through the mouth. The demons used the power in the immortals blood to transform the bat slowly. Arthur awoke the next morning and continued on his way, annoyed that a bat bit him in the night but none the wiser.
Years went by. The Demon cousins formed the Bat into a suitable body. They enlarged it, gave it arms, legs, a proper face. 20 years from it's original biting and it was ready, but first something had to be done. They were still two and they only had a single body.
So working together they found a new target. A wolf, but they could not decide who would leave the bat. Moloch claimed it as his own because he was older, but Pazuzu claimed it as his since it was his idea to get free.
The two demons fought, their spirits conflicting within the body of the Bat causing it to further twist, it's form corrupted by the evil being released within it. Moloch eventually won out and forced Pazuzu into the body of the wolf through a bite.
From then on the two demons were mortal enemies. Pazuzu began raising an army by biting mortals and turning them into his Immortal minions. Enslaved to him through the mark of his bite, the first generation Werewolves were changed permanently into their wolf form on the night of the first full moon after their biting.
The war between Pazuzu and Moloch was vicious but short. It ended in single combat between the two demons. They killed each other on the battlefield, their spirits going back to hell where they had come from.
The first generation werewolves fought with the vampire clans. The sporadic and short wars were vicious and the werewolves began conscripting mortals into their ranks to fight the vampires.
Second generation werewolves could change between their human and wolf forms but they were weaker. The werewolves formed themselves into a loose alliance, with the first generation wolves on top, ruling those below them. For the most part however, the werewolves spread out, each of them going out on his own to hunt. small packs formed here and there but the werewolf is mostly a solitary creature.

From then on the two were mortal enemies. Moloch set about raising an army to combat his former compatriot. Biting the necks of mortals he turned them into his immortal slaves. Enslaved to him through their blood these first generation Dark Ones served Moloch without question and they fought against Pazuzu.
The war between them was short, lasting only a year in the remote regions of the Carpathian mountains. It came to a head when finally Moloch and Pazuzu fought each other in single combat. The battle lasted a week and finally the two demons killed each other, their teeth wrapped around each other's throats. The Demons were banished back to the hell from whence they came but their minions remained.
Molochs minions, no longer bound to his blood through their own began the long and arduous process of building a society for themselves. They spread out to the world at large, covering the globe. Clans of Dark ones formed, the largest clan calling themselves Vampires. By the year 1030 AD the Vampire clan was the only clan. The others had either been killed off or absorbed into the Vampire clan.
Vampires held a deep hatred of Pazuzu and his minions, a hatred which sparked several minor wars between them but mostly simply shows itself as a deep rooted racism.

Rise of the Immortals « Result #5 on Jan 26, 2009, 11:55pm »
The year 903 AD. The first Immortal was born in London England. Arthur Caldwell awoke from his first death with the unshakable feeling that something in the world had changed.
He woke up to a world where he couldn't die. He'd wake up from mortal wounds completely fine. More then once he woke up in a coffin from which he dug his way out to walk the earth again.
He wasn't dead, he knew that for sure. He still needed to eat and drink like anyone else. He still bled and he still felt pain but he just couldn't die. It took 3 years before he met another Immortal. Duncan Cooper, an Irishmen who'd traveled far and wide to find someone like him.
The two of them met, talked for a while, shared their experiences but in the end they had an uncontrollable urge to kill each other. It was then they laid down the rules. An invisible hand guided them as they wrote down the rules.
No fighting on Holy Ground
Only one challenge can be issued at a time
In the end, there can be only one.
They fought and Arthur came out victorious, beheading Duncan. Arthur was surprised by what came next. Power coursed through his body. Lightning struck all about him and through him. His body felt like it was on fire as the lightning coursed through him. When it was all over he felt stronger, better, more powerful. His sword gleamed white and red as the sun glinted off it's polished surface and the drops of blood coating it.
He knew what he had to do, he knew what the game was. The Immortals would have to fight each other until the very last one. Only then would the true power be unlocked. Whoever was the last would get the prize. All the power of all the Immortals, the power of god.
He cleaned his sword off and set out to find the others.

Rules « Result #7 on Jun 18, 2008, 8:18pm »
ok, here's the thread that containes all the sites rules. I try not to overload things with rules so you won't find a lot of them, but expect them to be enforced.
1 - my word is law. This is Miktatorship. so if i tell you to do something, you do it. if i tell you to stop something, you stop it.
2 - No godmodding. I'm a huge stickler for this. the nature of the site allows for some cool super human abilities but try not to overdue it.
3 - Yes, Grammar is important, so spell check your posts to make them readable. I hate reading posts that say "And then i hit the oter guy with a hamer and it knoked him out and he fel doun and i kiked him in the stomac."
4 - you can have more then one character, but we ask you keep it to a minimum. it wouldn't be fair if we had people with access to an army of characters.
